Junior Creative & Content Creator

Faceplant Creative is looking for a curious, organized creative who loves social media and knows how to turn a good idea into content people want to watch, read and share.

You’ll work closely with our full-time Content Director, supporting creative development across our clients and taking the lead on select smaller accounts. You’ll help develop ideas for videos, graphics, carousels and other social content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube.

What you’ll do

  • Support our Content Director with research, brainstorming and creative development.

  • Lead creative ideation for select smaller accounts, with direction and feedback from our Content Director.

  • Develop ideas for short-form videos, static graphics, educational carousels and recurring content series.

  • Find relevant trends, formats and cultural moments, and adapt them to each client’s audience, brand and platforms.

  • Turn concepts into clear creative briefs, including hooks, scripts, graphic copy, visual references and shot lists.

  • Help source content creators who fit the brand, audience and concept.

  • Attend on-location shoots in the Austin area, helping with preparation, capturing content and bringing concepts to life.

  • Create content for select clients, including filming, editing and developing simple graphics using brand templates.

  • Collaborate with our design and editing team to carry ideas through production.

  • Incorporate feedback and performance learnings into the next round of ideas.

What we’re looking for

  • An understanding of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube, including how content should adapt across them.

  • Strong creative instincts for both visual storytelling and written content, from a video hook to a compelling carousel.

  • The organization to turn ideas into clear, actionable briefs.

  • Clear writing skills and an eye for design, pacing and brand consistency.

  • Hands-on experience creating social content. Personal projects, freelance work and internships all count.

  • Someone who takes initiative, welcomes feedback and follows through on deadlines.

  • Based in the Austin area and available for local shoots.

You don’t need to have led major campaigns. We’re interested in how you think, what you make and your willingness to learn.
